Strong Economy Building Our Future by Joe Guarino

A strong economy here in the Northeast continues to drive development and growth in all the areas represented by our District Council. All crafts represented by our union have been busy over the past months and we anticipate strong work opportunities throughout the upcoming year. District Council 35 continues an aggressive operation with regard to stewards assigned to projects and that program continued to pay dividends in protecting jurisdiction and creating more job opportunities for our members. While the District Council is aggressive about monitoring jobs for non-union contractors, the servicing department continues to monitor signatory contractors for job registrations contract compliance. Our union is at its strongest when all our members continue to be involved and vigilant and continue to fight for our jurisdiction.
