Remembering the Lives Lost in Everett: A Message from Christian Brennan

 In News, Uncategorized

The entire DC 35 family is deeply saddened by the tragic crane collapse in Everett that claimed the lives of two of our brothers in the trades: Larriston Lake and Paul Ledwell, members of Piledrivers Local 56.

On behalf of our union, I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to their families, loved ones, and union brothers and sisters. We hold all of you close in our hearts during this unimaginably difficult time.

We are also profoundly grateful to the Everett first responders who acted swiftly and courageously in the aftermath of this tragedy. Their dedication and bravery remind us of the strength, care, and compassion that carry our communities through even the darkest moments.

No family should ever have to endure the loss of a loved one simply because they went to work. Every worker deserves to return home safely at the end of the day.

As we mourn alongside our brothers and sisters at Local 56, the DC 35 family stands united in remembrance and solidarity. We honor those we have lost by holding their memory close and supporting the families and community left behind.

In solidarity,
Christian Brennan
Business Manager / Secretary-Treasurer
