2025 STAR Event

This year, DC 35 members and their families came together for the annual STAR event — hosted for the first time at the Franklin Park Zoo. The new venue made for a great day, giving families a chance to spend time together while celebrating the importance of safety, skill, and professionalism on the job. The STAR program recognizes members who stay current with their safety certifications and training, helping build a stronger, safer future for our union and our industry. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this first year at the zoo such a success, and congratulations to all of this year’s STAR winners.
