Boston Herald: Ensuring future memorial
Painters’ union IUPAT District Council 35 and the Painter and Glazier Contractors’ Association of New England, who helped build the New England Holocaust Memorial and have donated time for maintenance and repairs, presented a $10,000 donation yesterday to support further upkeep of the memorial.
Mayor Martin J. Walsh, with Jewish Community Relations Council director Jeremy Burton, Combined Jewish Philanthropies board chair Cindy Janower, and Holocaust survivor Israel Arbeiter, commemorated the event.
