WCVB: Hundreds march in Boston over dispute between locked-out workers, National Grid

On Wednesday, July 18, IUPATDC35 marched in solidarity with our brothers and sisters of United Steelworkers, the Building Trades, and hundred others to send a clear message that National Grid cannot put profits over safety and people. Stop the National Greed.

“National Grid remains committed to bargaining in good faith to reach a fair and equitable solution—as soon as possible—that balances the needs of our employees and customers,” a National Grid spokesperson said in a statement to WCVB. “Our work continuation efforts will continue until final agreements are reached between the company and the unions that are ratified by the unions’ membership and fully executed by the parties.”
